Formed in the year 2015 the rock band DYK has been pleasing the audience with their amazing performances and tracks. Using a broad sound spectrum of guitars and synthesisers, DYK has been producing hits one after the other. The thing started as a project turned into a live band, with the members giving it all they have got into their tracks. Since their fast composition ‘Memories’ the evolvement of the band can be seen in their latest creation titled as ‘Trashcan’. Each of their composition has got a story to tell and ‘Trashcan’ is no different. DYK creates a fusion of multi-genres in between rock, pop and electronic.
The track ‘Trashcan’ is based on the rock genre and yet subtle elements of pop and electronic vibes out through it. In this particular track, DYK focuses on capturing the public attention asking them to act now regarding whatever is taking place in their surroundings. This North Carolina rock band want the audience to put their time into doing something good for the planet. The soundscape of the track is hypnotic with deep vocals of the band members pouring through.
