Starting at a very early age of nine, the artist could not be found without a guitar in his hands. He has studied jazz for five years with guitar maestro Bruce Clarke. With time, Michael Mancev inclined toward the rock genre and became a bit distant from his jazz roots when rock gigs started pouring down. His earliest influences when it comes to guitar playing were jazz greats such as Joe Pass, Charlie Christian, George Golla, and Larry Carlton. It was back then he found the beautiful lyrical simplicity of Mark Knopfler's style and Gilmore’s and Clapton’s. Later he worked with Hendrix, Keaggy, and Gary Moor. Recently the artist has released his new single ‘Thieves’ with an official lyrics video on YouTube.
The new track ‘Thieves’ can be said to be a very significant one especially while standing in this era. The world has changed and turned a lot more dark than it used to be. Right now everything revolves around money and greed. The obsession with money has engulfed each and every soul. This track is a melodious way to point out the ones taking advantage of the poor while lying back on their leathered chairs. The lyrics and the guitar riffs have truly shot the track into the limelight. The breakdown of the song along with the drumming beats is enough to make the listener pumped up with adrenaline. The straightforward and honest lyrics are truly commendable.
Apart from the new track which has got more than 6K views on YouTube since its release, Michael Mancev has produced tracks like ‘River of Life’, ‘Let You Be’, ‘Anti-Hero’, ‘Nowhere’, ‘Her Love Waits’, ‘Mustard Seed’ and so much more all of these are available on youtube and his website. Fans can get updates about the artist through his social media profile on Facebook.
