Lyricism in Newbie Artist TroyLLF’s Tracks is Mesmerizing and Impressive

TroyLLF came up in the Fillmore district with a passion to one day share his lyrical art with the world. He is one of the members of the collective ‘Legends Live Forever’ which was formed in 2006, they release several mixtapes. In 2013 this group set out to work on individual projects. TroyLLF released his Debut Solo project ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ in June 2013 followed by an immediate EP ’10.20’, and as recent the ‘Free Play’ Trilogy and most recent ‘Poster Boy Troy’. TroyLLF’s tracks have fresh sound with a bay area mixed with an east coast vibe from the fresh lyrics and wordplay to the soulful beats that lets his voice illustrates on. He was also blessed with the opportunity to grace the stage at the first annual ‘Haight Street Merchants Festival’ in 2014.    

Hooks in TroyLLF’s songs are memorable, great and heartfelt that surprises among a creatively free soundscape. The concept and the rhythm of the tracks have lyrical delivery that works well together in creating something which is intriguing and unusual. His song ‘Over There ft. Yasi & Lil Mya’ feel soulful and electronically intense at the same time. Instrumental riffs in his songs are undoubtedly memorable. The underlying idea in his track ‘Man In The Mirror’ works really well. In the latter half of the song, there is a rise in passion and the journey in the track continues to intensify effectively.
