He said he did not write anything down; he just connected and spoke from the heart of his truth instead of thinking it is good or bad. “I remember hearing Chris Brown’s song on that make a Movie record and I was fascinated by the sound of it. His tone and rhythm stuck with me because it was so close to my nature voice. I love the process of creating melodies and connecting with people sonically, when I am doing that on a record I am in my rawest form”, BMO said.
Influenced by its deep rhythm and blues culture while also being enthused by hip hop icons, BMO started to develop an artistic medium. He was absorbing the elements he valued the most from both genres. BMO’s signature sound was composed when he used music as a coping instrument during a very troubling time of his life.
